Through a partnership with Creighton University, a nurse practitioner and practicing physician treat clients with acute health care problems at no cost every Wednesday at the center. Beginning in 2011, the Center has been sending Creighton dental faculty and students to local grade schools to apply sealants and fluoride varnishes.

Martha joined the Heart Ministry Center in February 2010. She is an active volunteer in the community working with impoverished women as they transition out of homelessness. Martha is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is specially trained to diagnose and manage common chronic and acute health care conditions. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages.
Martha graduated with honors from Wichita State University with a bachelor's degree in Nursing. She worked for 20 years as a registered nurse before pursuing an advanced degree. She graduated from Creighton University with a master's degree in Science/Family Nurse Practitioner. Martha is currently working on her Ph.D.
